Some kind words from my clients …
Prior to Lindsay’s help I had suffered from severe arthritic pain particularly in my knees and lower back. My ability to walk was severely compromised even with a stick. Lindsay worked with me, helping me to understand that physical pain is largely connected to past trauma, the body crying out not only due to physical but also emotional dis-ease .I am now free from pain and my dog and I enjoy a daily walk. I do not need pain medication. I have found peace, and I am now a strong, positive, relaxed woman. Thank you Lindsay and SIRPA for helping me.
Things have improved so much! Mornings used to be a struggle—now they’re almost a non-issue. Even when I get the occasional intense flare-up, it passes within seconds. On average, what used to be a level 5 discomfort is now closer to a 2. After 6 sessions, I’m really happy with the progress!
I did not know what to expect from this experience as I had never heard of SIRPA before, however I delved in with an open mind. My god Lindsay opened my eyes and helped me understand neurological pain and how my symptoms were controlled by my busy and panicked mind. During this journey I have learnt so much about myself and how to relax and let go, to not be in a constant fear state, enjoy the small wins and appreciate my strengths. I can’t thank you enough for your continued support and working with you on this amazing journey. For once I am excited to continue my journey of life pain free!
We worked together for about six sessions, following a long journey for me towards healing from what I learned through you are neuroplastic/mind-body symptoms. I had previously tried just about every treatment and therapist possible for my chronic gluteal tendinopathy and low back pain over the past five years—MRIs showed “degeneration,” and diagnoses ranged from osteoarthritis to bursitis and everything in between.
Once we started talking and going through my history, there were so many “aha” moments you picked up on—patterns of frustration, fear, learned behaviours (like relying on props), thought processes, and repressed emotions. It was quite a revelation! Even things like saying “hot baths are to relieve the pain” have shifted to “having a nice relax.”
You helped me find ways to dial down perfectionism, worries, and frustrations, which led to a real reduction in symptoms over a few months.
I loved your approach—it felt like talking to a friend rather than a therapist, which made it so much easier to open up. My symptoms are much improved, and it’s only been a few months since I started working with you as a SIRPA practitioner. Thank you.
For seven months, I suffered from debilitating back pain and sciatica, a diagnosis that included a herniated disc and degenerative disc disease. The pain was relentless and was getting worse, interfering with my physical activities and even the simplest day-to-day tasks. I had tried countless treatments and was losing hope, convinced that nothing would ever work. The pain made it difficult to go to the gym, stand for long periods at work, or even just sit down without constant discomfort.
Initially, I admit I was sceptical about neuroplastic pain and how it could help me. However, the more I worked with Lindsay, the more I understood it. Her guidance was a massive turning point for me. I began to grasp that pain isn’t always caused by a physical injury but can be a result of the stress and emotions we hold onto in our subconscious minds.
My biggest fear came true when I had a major flare-up in the middle of our sessions. I honestly thought it was another failed treatment and was ready to give up. But as the weeks went on, I put everything Lindsay taught me into practice, and I slowly began to come out of the flare-up. It was in that moment that I truly realized the power of this process—that it was working.
My life has completely changed as a result of our work together. I’ve been able to return to my job as a hairdresser without the pain I was experiencing before. I am slowly getting back to the gym, and being able to sit down for more than an hour without sciatica is an absolute blessing. I genuinely never thought I’d be pain-free and had even considered surgery as my only option.
I am so grateful to have found Lindsay. The knowledge and tools she has given me are something I will carry with me for life. I highly recommend her to anyone suffering from back pain.
“I approached Lindsay for assistance in pain-relief in respect of chronic lower back pain. I am somewhat sceptical about non-mainstream medical treatments, but Lindsay’s personable, friendly, and enthusiastic outlook convinced me to try alternatives to ever increasing doses of painkillers. We had an exhaustive question and answer session in which all aspects of my personal life and circumstances were explored. She introduced me to Pain Reprocessing Therapy. Also, the benefits of regular meditation. The main benefit to me was the adoption of a much more positive mental outlook to the problems and burdens of life and physical deterioration of the body in old age.”
I worked with Lindsay after getting into a pain, anxiety, fear cycle. Lindsay has helped me understand how our minds can keep us in pain and discomfort and taught me useful techniques to help move me away from the cycle and calm my anxiety.
Lindsay has a friendly, calming nature, is compassionate and truly understanding having been through it herself. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending her.
Since September 2022 I was trapped in a cycle of tension and pain. Discovering mind–body approaches, particularly the concept of neuroplastic pain, helped me understand that my brain was misinterpreting safe signals as dangerous. This led me to working with Lindsay from May 2025.Lindsay’s lived experience of chronic pain, combined with her compassionate, gentle coaching style, made all the difference. She helped me develop practical tools to calm my nervous system, reframe my relationship with pain, and rebuild trust in my body.I am now firmly on my healing path and continue to use these tools daily. Three years ago I could barely walk 100 steps; over Christmas and New Year 2025–26, I averaged 7,500 steps a day. I’m looking forward to hiking again, improving my table tennis, and eventually coming off my medication.
Before meeting Lindsay, I was living in constant, excruciating pain from an unstable Spondylolisthesis, Neuropathy, and Allodynia. I couldn’t walk, sleep in a bed, or even tolerate clothing, and I was consumed by fear, anxiety, and hopelessness. Lindsay’s compassion, wisdom, and guidance changed everything. She helped me feel safe, rebuild trust in my body, and truly heal. Today, I am completely pain free, active, and living a life I never thought possible. Lindsay didn’t just help me recover, she gave me my life back.
When I first started working with Lindsay, I had back pain for many years, and after the multiple tests and MRIs I have had done, only the normal aspects emerged (bulging discs, disc degenerative disease, etc) but nothing which could account for my back pain and it’s random patterns – I had put myself in the box of ‘I am just an anomaly, a medical mystery’ and I need to just live with this.
Lindsay has helped me see that there is another way. Her knowledge is vast, and I feel she has given me the tools, and taught me the techniques to be able to cope with my back issues. It is definitely an ongoing process, but I do feel so much more confident in the way I view my back, and my body in general, particularly in terms of the multiple random pains I would get – knee, hip, shin bone, you name it, I had it at one point telling me that there was a massive problem (there was obviously no problem – and this was proven by implementing the techniques learnt from Lindsay).
As a coach, Lindsay is professional, yet incredibly kind, patient and empathetic and I’m so grateful to her for all of her encouragement throughout. I can highly recommend Lindsay with no hesitation at all.
